Newtonhill one of only 3 road closures in Scotland for European Car Free DayNewtonhill, Aberdeenshire, joins the list of major European cities in participating in European Car Free Day on 22nd September. St Michaels Road in the village will be closed opposite the school and a childrens circus and other activities will turn the road into a place for people and safe for children.
Newtonhill is one of only 3 places in Scotland closing a road the other two being Edinburgh and Glasgow.
