It featured a £2 parking cash out. Employees were given £2 every time they came to work, but lost it if the left by car, keeping it if the left by bus or active travel. They reduced travel by car to the site by 20%. 10% with better buses cycling and walking measures and another 10% with the parking cash out.
Companies are increasingly realising that the cost of providing a free car park is high, the photo (from Munster in Germany), shows how 70 people can be transported by either car or bus the extra space for car parking is at the companies cost
